About

I am a broadcast journalism student at Bowling Green State University with a minor in photography, and a business owner.
Throughout my time as a reporter with the university's student media program, BG Falcon Media, I work collaboratively with fellow student journalists to ensure stories meet the expectations set forth by editors and advisers. During my time as a reporter with Falcon Media, I have reported on a local group that teaches individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities how to play sports, a non-traditional art student who faced accessibility challenges, and reactions to a November election ballot.
Further, I was an intern with BG Falcon Media during the spring 2024 semester. Throughout my internship, I reported on a scooter delivery service facing criticism, community concerns about the city's wind turbines, and raising money for childhood cancer.
I have experience collaborating with several areas including producing video packages for the weekly newscast and writing for the newspaper. I've produced reported video packages on the Toledo Zoo preparing for the solar eclipse, a local chocolate shop keeping prices low amid inflation, and a local doctor anticipating the 2023 flu season.
In addition to my time with Falcon Media, I worked as a freelance journalist with a local newspaper, the Sentinel-Tribune. During my role at the Tribune, I covered various stories including articles based on the inclusion of those in society with disabilities and a profile on a local Spanish teacher inspired by her students.
I have experience in broadcast, print, photography and videography.
Finally, I currently own and operate my own lawn care business in northwest Ohio. Having served over two dozen clients consistently since 2014, I have a drive for ambition and self-motivation.
With all of this, I believe we cannot outgrow our character because it is our character that fuels our personal growth which pulls us to our potential.
